W- 9 Worker

Hello,

I worked as a construction worker for 3 days and was paid under $300. I never received a W-9 form because I made less $600. Which section would this be on Turbo Taxes and how would I report my income?

To clarify, do you mean you did not receive a 1099 form? If yes, please follow the steps below on how to report that income in TurboTax:

1. Click on Tax Home on the Left Side Menu.
2. Click on Income & Expenses on the main screen and select Work on Other Income.
3. Scroll Down and the last section you should see is "Less Common Income". Within that, select Miscellaneous Income.
4. When you are in the Miscellaneous Income Section, scroll down till you see "Other Reportable Income". Click Start next to it.
5. Then you can enter the description of the work you did and the amount you received.
