Vanguard says my 1099-DIV will not be available until 2/28/2023, how should I proceed in filing? Should I just wait until the end of Feb?

Yes...wait.  Having to Amend later to include it can be a confusing nightmare, and you don't want to go thru that if you don't have to.

 

 

IF you have any REIT funds, they are allowed to report reallllly late, and that is usually the cause for the late issue of a 1099-DIV form....sometimes even in March.
