Updated/Corrected Tax Form Not Importing as Expected

My brokerage sent a notice that they updated and reissued a 1099.  The date on their website for the new form is several days ago, i.e. it's been there and available for days now.  I've deleted from TurboTax the previous version of form(s) I had already downloaded and re-imported "new" forms, but the data that was re-imported is same as previous, i.e. the import does not seem to be picking up newer (corrected) version of tax form.  Any thoughts?

Please try logging completely out of the TurboTax website, then clear your browser's cache and delete cookies. A full or corrupted cache can keep TurboTax from functioning properly. If that doesn't work, try a different browser.

Thanks.  I had gone ahead and entered the 4 or 5 numbers that had changed manually to match with corrected form.  Is this good enough or is it better if I keep at it, i.e. use your advice, until Turbotax properly fills in the details for me via import process?  Does IRS know or care if an electronic return has been "adjusted" by filer?

Note: I understand how dicey it can be to offer insight or advice on technical stuff like this.

It is fine to manually enter the numbers for a corrected form. The IRS has the corrected form as well and would expect to see those numbers. This will not cause a red flag with the IRS.
