In previous years I have been able to import data from my financial institution. I have changed my password on my financial institution so now I get a sign on error when I try to import. I have seen that I need to contact my financial institution from other people, but they said they cannot do anything, and it makes sense that it should be stored in my TurboTax account. I cannot find where that information is stored so I can update it.

Clear cookies and then search for your broker via the search bar rather than clicking the broker icon. This should allow the screen to input account information and import the data.
I am not using TurboTax Online, I have it installed on my laptop so I am not sure if clearing the cookies will do anything. I normally use Microsoft Edge and I did clear all the Intuit related cookies. When I went back into TurboTax on my laptop, I typed in the institution line the search bar and selected the institution. I still got the sign on error.

Well, I tried to call support. I explained my issue and shared my screen. I went through exactly what I had done and got the sign on error. He knew nothing about how to change the login TurboTax was using to connect to my financial institution. His suggestion was just to key in the information by hand. He said that TurboTax and the institution needs time to sync the login. It has been weeks since I changed the password. Very, very disappointed.
I had no problem importing financial information using the desktop version of TurboTax Software. I just picked the name of the institution and kept pressing continue until it asked for login information. Hopefully, you've been able to figure it out.
