Suspected Software Bug in Payment screen - Unable to enter the correct MONTH for the credit card expiration date.
I have been having multiple frustrating issues with finding and downloading the Turbo Tax DESKTOP software for 2024 and am now to the point that I believe that I have downloaded the DMG file for MAC and am attempting to pay for the software/registration but getting stuck on the payment screen entering the two number Month value for the credit card expiration date. The screen/software insists on using the drop down list for selection and displays all 12 months but only accepts values 01 through 08. Values 09 through 12 are not accepted.
SOFTWARE BUG? or am I doing something wrong??

@rak22 Understand the issues you are having when trying to enter expiration date for a credit card. That is a bug in the software and the only way to report that bug and maybe? pay for the software is through TurboTax support. Sorry, there is no one on this forum that can help with a billing issue.

Thanks for the reply - Have been that route (phone number) already and a helpful person was looking into it but we lost the phone connected.
Note that my experience with the sequence of screens is not as you describe. My following those links/selections does not offer an opportunity to select the product - just shows an overall general number to use (that I have already tried).
Was trying to see if there is a way to submit a software bug report. ???

Thanks again for the input/encouragement.
I FOUND A SOLUTION!! While taking to the kind customer support persons again, I fooled with the credit card expiraion date field (for the 100th time) and discovered that :
1. using the mouse to select the drop down and pick the month number does not work for 09-12
2. using the down arrow key to select the drop down and pick the month number does not work for 09-12
3. entering a number '1' displays the list with '10' selected but typing in another digit fails also.
4. Note that only part of the numbers (to about 09) are initially displayed on the month drop down and it is necessary to scroll the list to get to the higher numbers and those fail when any of the methods above are used.
HOWEVER
5. If you use a mouse click in the field to (partially) display the list and then USE THE MOUSE SCROLL WHEEL (instead of the grey scroll bar to the side of the display) TO SEE THE HIGHER MONTH NUMBERS - THEN THOSE NUMBERS CAN BE SELECTED !!!!!!
If anyone has contacts to be able to submit a software bug I'd certainly recommend this input.
Have now completed the payment process and received the license key.

I love this software and hope to keep it alive in a desktop environment where I have more control over security and options for installing/removing/reinstalling as needed.

@rak22 Thank you for posting this workaround. I am sure other users will be helped by this until the bug can be fixed.
