Unable to find and complete 2022 tax return started with Turbo Tax Online

I started my taxes for 2022 with Turbo Tax online. I never completed the payment to file taxes and need to get them filed. I bought the 2022 software yesterday thinking that it would pull the information over, but I am not able to locate any of the information that I input for 2022. How do I access this return to be able to print and mail it out to get it filed?

To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Start the 2023 online tax return by entering some personal information then click on Tax Home on the left side of the screen.

On the Tax Home webpage -

Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents.  Click on the Year 2022 and Click on Download .tax file

A 2022 tax return can only be printed and mailed using TurboTax, it cannot be e-filed.

You need to download the tax data file ending in .tax2022 to open in the Desktop program.  You can download it for free.  Save the tax file

After you get the program installed the first thing to do before you open your tax return .tax file is to update the program and install any state programs you had. Then open your file. So you first might need to start a fake return to be able to download the state program (go to FILE - NEW).  Just enter some basic personal info like your name and address then click on the State tab at the top and it should ask if you want to download the state program.
