Unable to e-file?

My husband is retired. Received a W-2 from company with only info being Box 12a (code W) and Box 12b (code DD ) on it. When filing online getting message saying because there is no wages, etc. cannot e-file and must mail Federal return. Never have had this issue before.

Unable to e-file?

If there are no wages reported on this W2, you do not need to file it.
