When trying to import info from Wells Fargo Advisors , I continue to get the message "Our system is currently unavailable". Is this a Wells Fargo issue or a Turbo Tax issue? Like the original poster, I was told to wait until the 17th to import, but now I keep getting the unavailable message. Is Turbo Tax aware of this issue?
Today is the 18th and I'm being punted between TT and WFA regarding why TT still can't import WFA. WFA says the forms are available and TT says they are not. Sigh. Were you ever able to import?
I was able to download since Feb 17 from Wells Fargo Advisor. You should be ok to download, if not may be Wells Fargo site is down or too busy.
You may need to check with Wells Fargo to see if they are allowing third-party access. Although the following Help Article uses Schwab as an example, it is possible that your brokerage has restricted TurboTax's access to your statements unless you grant consent, and you might need to do something similar to what is described here How can I fix my 1099 import issue?
Yes. They are. Have confirmed with WFA through multiple avenues at this point. They say the problem is TT.
Thanks! I just get error messages. Have a case opened with TT. Insisted on it after their escalation team initially told me it meant I had to manually input (!) my 1099's.
Third party access is not the issue. I spoke at length with Client Services at Wells Fargo Advisors and the agent was finally able to determine that this is a known issue at WFA and their programmers are working on it. Sounds like it is not affecting all users, but they do anticipate having it cleared up by Tuesday the 22nd. Again, this is in response to the "System currently not available" message I am getting when attempting to import the tax data.

I called the Wells Fargo number 1-877-879-2495 and they said they were aware of the problem and were going to fix it. That was two weeks ago and it still not fixed.
