Third party access is not the issue.  I spoke at length with Client Services at Wells Fargo Advisors and the agent was finally able to determine that this is a known issue at WFA and their programmers are working on it.  Sounds like it is not affecting all users, but they do anticipate having it cleared up by Tuesday the 22nd.  Again, this is in response to the "System currently not available" message I am getting when attempting to import the tax data.
