Need to open TurboTaxReturn.tax2024 file I have downloaded to review detail of employment history filed.
I login online each year, username LUVSACRES.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
The worksheets that are part of the pdf of your return will show W-2 information, but there will not be a "work history".
You have to access your own account and/or print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.

Start a 2025 return online and enter some personal information so that the menu on the left opens up and lets you access your past year returns.
Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.
Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax? If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.
You can get a free transcript from the IRS or for a fee of $30, an actual copy of your tax return.

You can get a work history from Social Security:
WORK HISTORY https://www.ssa.gov/forms/ssa-7050.pdf
In TurboTax there is no detailed work history, however W2's are listed and show reported income.
I believe the file I asked about- TurboTaxReturn.tax2024 - once downloaded can be imported to a desktop version, which I don't use.
And a login to social security- https://secure.ssa.gov/- pulls up detailed work history for employer paychecks reported to gov't. Awesome.
TY all.
