When I enter my husband's ITIN for MFJ form, TurboTax says it has expired. But ITIN should not expire if it was used on at least one federal income tax return within a 3-yr period and we have filed every year using TurboTax.
How do I address this issue? Thank you.

I would file as usual, ignoring the warning about possible expiration. TurboTax is designed to alert you that the potential for expiration exists based on the middle digits of the ITIN since it can't see your IRS filing history. If the software prevents you from proceeding, please provide us with the error message you're receiving.
If this is for a 2022 or earlier return, we can help you to get by the error if necessary. If this is for a 2023 return, we can assist closer to the opening of filing season in the latter part of January.

It's now Feb. 9, and TT online is still wrongly showing my wife's valid ITIN number as invalid. And, it's not clear to me that the TT system will allow me to file online as normal as long as that error remains.
How can you assist with this?
"Ignore the message and continue. TurboTax is incorrectly flagging the middle two digits of the ITIN that are the same as an ITIN issued prior to 2013."
Here's FAQ's from the IRS regarding ITIN's.
TT appears to have either fixed or be in the process of fixing this problem for 2023 tax year online users.
Last week when I began work on my 2023 tax return, my NRA wife's valid ITIN (used every year for the past 8 years) was suddenly judged by TT as "invalid."
Now today, suddenly, the same ITIN number, with middle digits of 97 (valid if issued and used consistently after 2013) is now suddenly being accepted by the TT system without any error message.
