My son received state refund yesterday. Filed in DRS website
Regards
I checked this morning since I got an email telling me the forms were ready yesterday but when I go on TT it tells me ready soon. Anyone else having this problem?
The other thing I can’t think of is clean up your federal return of any errors. Do a check for errors and cleanup your return of any potential issues that may be getting in the way of downloading the CT forms.
Is there a moderator on this forum from Intuit Turbo Tax that can provide technical assistance on downloading the CT forms?
Folks posting in this thread are still having issues with the updated forms for CT and need help.
Regards
To all the folks that are posting in this thread:
I called the Turbo Tax tech support line [phone number removed]. The rep I spoke suggested you reach out to them at this number and they will help you individually. Unfortunately everyone's tax situation is different and they don't want to post a solution in this thread that fits one scenario only.
I suggest when you open Turbo Tax go into form view and look at the forms listed on your CT return.
Wish I could provide a better answer.
Regards
As of Monday Feb 3, CT 1040 still not available in TT desktop (Windows), even though they keep sending me emails saying it _is_ available.
Hey Jbeth, i just want a rough outline on when i should expect my return. Mine was Submitted the 25th of Jan and Processed the 27th. How long after you submitted did you receive the refund? Thank you so much for your help (i filed through the website)
I reached out to TT yesterday on that 1-800 number. They had no idea why the forms weren't available when they said they were. They just told me to wait.... :(
My son received the refund in less than 5 days. You can check the state site. They have. Where is my refund as well.
folks having issues with TT for state taxes you are better off going through DRS and file there. Is not that hard. I can’t believe Turbo Tax IT desk can’t help on this issue.
I'm having the same issue. It continues to say that CT-1040 will be 'Ready Soon'.
I was on the phone with Turbo Tax Intuit for over 2 hours on Sunday, 2/2/25 with no resolution. They checked my system and confirmed that I'm up-to-date on all updates. I even shared my screen with them to assist. They researched that CT-1040 on their side is up-to date should be available to file. They recommended that I wait a few days to see if another update comes through.
I'm anticipating if this doesn't get resolve, I'll probably file electronically on the CT DRS myconneCT website.
I filed my taxes through Turbo Tax yesterday. Federal and State.
I cannot comprehend why other folks are having issues with downloading the updated forms. The fact that Intuit techs cannot resolve the issue is even worse. I have been using the software for 20 years. Never an issue like this.
DRS website sounds like the only option. I found it was easy to use.
Good luck.
Regards
Windows 10.
Uninstalled Turbotax, re-installed, opened, it updated, still have a "Ready Soon" on the CT-1040.
There is no option to "re-download" a state again, as once it's downloaded I can only edit it, I cannot remove or re-download. Starting a new return from scratch does not update the form either, the state is applied automatically.
I hear ya. It is frustrating for sure.
I would take note of the forms you have on your state return. Jot down the form numbers. Go to form view and scroll down all the way until you hit the CT forms. Then go to the DRS site and file there for free.
Spare yourself the aggravation and the headache of dealing with this issue. The issue will not prevent you from filing the federal return through TT for free.
Regards.
jbeth,
" I filed my taxes through Turbo Tax yesterday. Federal and State. "
How did you do your state through TT? Were you're CT-1040 available?
I am not having problems downloading the state form. I was able to pull it down and file both.
regards
What version of TT are you using? Basic/Deluxe/Premier/H&B/etc?
