The 2021 summary of deductions page shows my $300 CHARITABLE CASH CONTRIBUTION.
The program says the standard deduction is 12,550. Then, just below that shows the $300 cash donation. Then, reflects a total of 12,550 in deductions. The very next page shows "the standard deduction of 12,850 is right for you.
BUT, then in the wrap up, the program again shows 12,550 in "Federal Deductions we found for you."
Calculation error shows up in two returns that I am working on.

Look at the actual tax forms. Don't worry about the summary screens in TurboTax. If the $300 is on Form 1040 line 12b your tax return is correct.
How do I preview my TurboTax Online return before filing?
Your standard deduction, on Form 1040 line 12a, is $12,550. The charitable contribution does not increase the standard deduction. But the standard deduction and the charitable contribution get added together on Form 1040 line 12c.
I've having this issue as well. For married-filing-jointly the summary page in step-by-step view shows:
Standard Deduction $25,100
Charitable Cash Contributions $600
Total Deductions $25,100
The underlying forms appear to be correct with $25,700 for total deductions, but it's disconcerting to have the two views disagreeing.
Isn't it just TOO BAD that it's FEB 4 and TT has not taken 15 minutes to FIX THIS BLUNDER!
