I have TurboTax Premier desktop MacOS version that I am trying to import my 1099-B (from E*Trade) with a significant number of trades (~6000). I see that it should support up to 10000 per brokerage. However after the import seems to complete, it starts "calculating" and then suddenly crashes. I have tried numerous times with the same result. I have tried with only my 1099-B and it fails. I try all my other documents from the same institution and they all import without issue. Is there any way to get this to import successfully so I don't have to do a manual entry which will require me to mail off a massive stack of papers?
Thank You

I would suggest summarizing the entries according to their sales sections listed on the 1099B. Here is how TurboTax suggests to report those totals.
