@vakotsur I don't work for TurboTax but have you tried their Free Edition?

 

TurboTax Free:

https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/free-edition.jsp

 

You can file with TurboTax Free Edition, TurboTax Live Basic, or TurboTax Live Full Service Basic if you have a simple tax return.*

 

*A simple tax return is Form 1040 only.

Situations covered by TurboTax Free Edition, TurboTax Live Basic, and TurboTax Live Full Service Basic

  • W-2 income
  • Limited interest and dividend income reported on a 1099-INT or 1099-DIV
  • Claiming the standard deduction
  • Earned Income Tax Credit (EIC)
  • Child tax credits
  • Student Loan Interest deduction

Situations not covered by TurboTax Free Edition, TurboTax Live Basic, and TurboTax Live Full Service Basic

  • Itemized deductions
  • Unemployment income reported on a 1099-G

I think using TurboTax should be free if your income less than $25,000. What do you think?

To add to my above post:  If you need to file a State return, check your State's website.  Most State's let you file for Free.

TurboTax payment

Tried to file with Turbotax but my credit cards were not accepted.  Switched to H&R Block with no problem.

Why did this happen?

I'm not sure the type of card you were trying to use, but we do accept most credit cards. Please see the information in this Help Article for assistance.
