TurboTax or HR block?

Hi: I am trying to decide between TurboTax and HR Block. One thing that is making me lean toward TurboTax is that it has an online forum (here). I know I will have questions and don't want to wait on hold for ever and ever or chat with someone helping six other people at the same time or rely on AI. So is this a place where I can ask questions such as what form to use or what are qualified dividends or other questions as I fill out the tax forms? Thanks.

Yes, this is where you would ask tax related questions of any kind along with questions on how to use the TurboTax program.

This forum has volunteers available who have extensive knowledge in most all tax related areas, both personal taxes and business taxes.  Many are current or ex CPA's or EA's.

And there are TurboTax Tax Experts on this forum who are also available to answer most tax related questions and TurboTax program questions.  They will be available here up through April 15, 2024.
