Turbotax online running very slowly since I started doing this year's taxes. I tried different computers, browsers, rebooting modem. Anyone have a suggestion to fix?

Never had this issue in past years. Internet is speedy on everything else I use it for. Not a computer or browser issue either.  Very frustrating to use right now.

Yes ... try a different time of day or different day ... right now the servers are overwhelmed as everyone is trying to use the program at the same time ...the next 3 weeks & the last 2 weeks are the busiest so the online program gets slowed down.  Try later at night or earlier in the am,  Sundays are better than week nights.... or use the downloaded/CD version instead then you are not at the mercy of the TT servers.

Thank you very much.  Makes sense.  I might try to switch over to the CD version instead.  How would I get the already filled in 2017 information I entered into the local version?

It's been like this for years.  When you fill in more that 10-15 lines it bogs down.  Even when you save, close down, and reboot.  I just called in and asked why it's still like this.  They blamed by computer.  I've tried different computers as well.  Still the same.

Easy to do and you can buy the Basic version if you don't need a state return or the Deluxe or better if you do and save some money since all the downloaded versions can handle all the tax forms.

Not just the online being slow.  TTax is slow to the point of being almost useless ANYTIME of the day.  After over twenty years of use this is the last year of using this crappy and expensive product.

Is this normal tht the saving your data is taking a very long time??
