Turbotax keeps importing my same TD Ameritrade account info, but my spouse has a separate account there. How do I add a 1099-div for my spouse?

Do you and your spouse have separate logins for your TD Ameritrade accounts?

Please see How do I import my 1099? for assistance with importing your 1099. You will want to make sure you are logged into the account that has the 1099 before importing.

Quit fussing with an import ... just enter the info yourself ... it is much quicker and less of a headache.

You will need to type the name of the financial institution instead of selecting from the names shown

I ran into this same issue with both my wife and I having accounts at Fidelity. Fortunately TT only saves in cache memory the last set of credentials you used. I selected another institution, such as Schwab and grabbed my 1099's from there, then I went back to Fidelity for a second go at it. This time around TT finally prompted me to enter credentials again and then was able to put in my wife's and download her 1099's.
