TurboTax is full of crap and I will never ever use them again nor will I recommend them to anyone

I filed my taxes with them this year and I truly regret it. I opt out for the advance loan plus it’s been past 24-48 hours. I never experienced this before until 1/25/2024 when I made a bad decision to file my taxes with TurboTax… I should have used Jackson Hewitt like I been doing.

The IRS will begin to accept/reject e-files tomorrow on Monday, January 29.   So until then, your return will be in pending with millions of others.   Sometime on or after 1-29 you will get an email telling you if the IRS accepted or rejected your e-file.

Was your return Accepted  yet?  You don't get the Advance until after the return is accepted.  And the IRS is not opening until tomorrow Jan 29.   It is later this year.  See IRS

same exact thing happened to me on the RAL, no notice, no communication from TurboTax, I spoke to customer service several times and received multiple contradicting directions. What a nightmare, the staff members do not have any knowledge. I completely regret using them this year, such a waste of time and money. Never again!

Yes!!! I used them for the first time this year, and they put wrong account number on taxes. I always check and recheck my numbers. Not only is it the wrong number, it's not even close, and has one number too many. Never again!! Trash company

I agree.... 2024 filing was the very first time I ever filed with Turbo Tax and I had a bad experience! I would usually use Free Tax USA and we NEVER had an issue with then. With TT we got our funds MAD LATE almost costing us to miss out on purchasing our home and some snake of a company called SBTG tax filing or whatever takes a cut out of our taxes for filing.... That's BS because TT and SBTG's business has NOTHING to do with my refund especially without me resigning the agreement of accepting a 3rd party to handle my taxes.. This can't be legal and now I will be fighting the other company for the rest of my owed funds. TT is garbage and I have WELL learned my lesson... I feel scammed honestly.

Turbo tax just did me so dirty, when I was done with my taxes and paying for the services I made sure I selected the $40 charge, make sure no other services were selected and entered my payment info, I hit pay and ... They charged me $172.20, I made sure nothing was selected but the $40 charge, I never added "max" or any other services I'm so pissed off, if turbo tax won't let me talk to a person and cancel the charge I'm going to my bank first thing in the morning to block the payment, turbo tax is so dirty

The $40 was only the service charge to have the regular TurboTax fees deducted from your refund.  So you must have been in a paid version, not the Free Edition.  172.20-40 = 132.20 for fees.

How to review your fees

Not sure what you thought the $40 was for----always--always--always---look at your fees before you e-file so you know what you are dealing with.

The $40 "refund processing fee" is the fee that is charged when you make the choice to have all of your TurboTax software fees deducted from your federal refund instead of paying upfront using a credit or debit card before you file.   When you make that choice, your refund goes from the IRS to a third party bank; that bank  takes your TT fees out of the refund, keeps $40 for itself, and sends you the rest of the refund.    You had to agree to it---it is important to read every screen carefully to see what you are agreeing to.

Santa Barbara Tax Products Group, LLC  (SBTPG) is the bank that handles the Refund Processing Service when you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your refund. This option also has an additional charge from the bank that processes the transaction.

You can contact them SBTPG, toll-free, at 1-877-908-7228 or go to their secure website www.sbtpg.com
