TurboTax hung up - will not open.

TurboTax Deluxe installed on MacBook Pro running OS 12.6.2

Taxes nearly complete when error occurred.  Automatic reporting to Intuit starts and rotating "beach ball" starts. The reporting never completes therefore, the program won't run.  Whenever TurboTax is started it goes into this reporting mode and the program will not run.  I tried restarting the Mac; didn't work.  I deleted TurboTax from the computer and reinstalled; didn't work.  How can I recover my file and proceed?  Help!

TurboTax hung up - will not open.

I originally removed TurboTax by just dragging the application into the trash.  I think that the problem occurred due to some corruption in the library files that the article showed how to remove.  Unfortunately, the keystrokes in the article did not match my OS exactly.

I installed TurboTax in a much newer Macbook Air running 11.7.3 Big Sur which never had TurboTax installed before.  It works just fine.  Of course, there were no residual files in the library to cause the problem.

Thanks for you help!  I'm good to go.
