TurboTax Deluxe 2020 version wont work

While trying to input information onto the program, it stops working and the program closes.  Whats the point of purchasing the program if it doesn't work?

The program stops working as soon as I click to the page where I start to enter My W-2 information.

Skip the attempt to import the W-2 form ... scroll down and choose to enter the form manually.

So far every time I have called I was on hold for 30+ min, then the phone call would drop and no one would call me back.  To then start back over again.  Pretty **bleep**ty customer service if you ask me...

Try uninstalling the program then reinstalling it ... then update the program before you start or continue the return.

I have done this 3 times with no success.

The program updates or checks for an update at the beginning of every session.

Currently I am trying a new way to solve the problem by installing the most recent UI that was out when the software first came out.  This was recommended to me by customer service after only accepting over the phone to speak to a tax professional for $30.  First time in days I actually got to speak with a real human for turbotax.

Once you install the program and update it  shut off your internet and work offline.

Surprisingly this worked for me.  I only turned the internet back on to download my state taxes then turned it back off.  This helped me finish without a problem.
