Turbotax bug: cannot enter qualified dividends which failed to meet holding requirements

The following TurboTax bug is preventing me from filing my tax return:

When filling out the 1099-DIV section, I selected the option "Some qualified dividends are from securities that didn't meet the required holding period."  When I attempt to fill in the "Dividends that meet the 60/90 day holding period" field, my value isn't saved.  Instead the field remains blank, and the 1099-DIV form remains stuck in "Needs review" status.

Attempting to fill out the field from my completecheck to-do list has the same results: no matter how many times I enter data, the field remains blank and the 1099-DIV form remains in the todo list.

I tried reporting this through TurboTax Assistant, but it repeatedly told me there was a problem with the phone system.

I was able to reach Turbotax support last weekend, and they resolved the software bug sometime this week.

the simplest thing to do is just to adjust the qualified dividend amount as reported on the 1099
