I had a question a few days ago and I was sent a text with a turbotax answerxchange code, but where do I enter it?

Were you asking about an Excess Roth Contribution? Please click on the link to read about your options.
Where do I input the answer xchange code you sent me? I have used turbo tax for many years and I don't think I have ever experience such a worthless help center.
My original question, which I still don't have an answer to is the following.
I contacted Illinois 529 Bright Directions about transfering the money I put aside for my grandson to a special needs trust as my grandson is low functioning and will not benefit from a college education. They assured me there would be no penalty when doing taxes but all you tool seems to handle is a transfer to an ABLE account. I need an answer and don't send me an email/text without a link. Please read these steps. Since you are doing a transfer, there should not be a tax consequence.
First, you need to think big picture. The IL tax forms and the program do not match. The program is asking questions to figure out what to put on your IL return.
The actual words on the IL return are much broader and says "programs that meet requirements". We don't have that wording in the program. Therefore, you can use the ABLE link even though it is not an ABLE account. It goes to the correct line on the return.
The program is made for general use and yours is very specific. That is the correct line and handling.
Did you figure out where to put the answerXchange code? I got one too.
@64dancer Are you referring to the verification code sent when you try to log in?
No, I had asked a question regarding the calculations of Schedule A from Form 8995-A, Lines 9 & 10 being done incorrectly by Turbo Tax and how to resolve this if using the online version of TurboTax (my computer is too old to download it and manually adjust the form).
After my question, I received a text from "88811" telling me: "Your TurboTax AnswerXchange Code is 816948".
This is actually the 3rd code I have received. I have found others in the forum that have also received codes and they don't know what to do with them either.
I have asked same question. "What do I do with a TurboTaxAnswerXchange Code?" When I go to support it says TurboTax has changed to another process. Apparently, the old system is still in use.
There are certain number fields that do not take input such as for the social security retirement amount. What am I doing wrong?
If you are using TurboTax Online, the most likely reason for buttons that don't work or not being able to enter information is that something in the web browser is not displaying the page properly. The easiest way around this is to simply use a different web browser. You can select from Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, and more. If you need to install another browser, be sure to go to the trusted home site for the software, for security reasons. Or you can clear the cache and cookies in your current browser. If you are using a touch screen, try using a keyboard.
If you are using the Turbo Mobile App, then try opening Turbo Tax in the browser window on your phone. It will use the same login information but may display the page better.
If this does not resolve the issue, please tell us where in the program you see it occur and what type of information you need to enter.
