Turbotax 2024 Desktop App Log-In Not Launching

 I downloaded TurboTax Deluxe (Fed + State) which I purchased from Costco onto my Mac but I am stuck on the log-in page--the application does not launch the log-in and I just see four blue dots flashing on my screen. My Mac is updated to the latest OS and the FAQs that were posted do not provide any additional guidance I have not tried.
