The program isn’t transferring 1099-Rs from my 2023 return. Has to be a program bug.

As stated in the program for entering a Form 1099-R - This section will be ready soon
If you had a Form 1099-R in 2023 and did Not indicate on the form to do not transfer this 1099-R to next year, then just click on Forms. When in Forms mode you will see the 1099-R that transferred listed on the left side of the screen in Forms mode. You can open the form and enter your tax data on the 2024 form.
I would think the information from the prior year’s return would transfer even if the form wasn’t ready. I know I can transfer it manually but it should still update on the new version.
I am using the 2024 TurboTax Premier edition for Windows. When I started the program and transferred the 2023 tax data to the 2024 return, the Form 1099-R from 2023 was transferred and available using Forms mode.
There will be many updates to the software, usually sent on Thursday's for downloading. So if you do not want to use Forms mode then wait for the update to make the 1099-R section available in the interview mode.
Rather than simply transfer all Forms 1099-R, TurboTax tries to guess which Forms 1099-R represent recurring distributions that should be transferred and which ones represent one-time distributions that won't be repeated and should not be transferred. TurboTax doesn't always guess correctly.
Any that have box 2b Total Distribution marked are unlikely to be transferred. This might mean that a Form 1099-R reporting a Roth conversion as part of a backdoor Roth might not get transferred even though you might be planning to do these traditional IRA contributions and Roth conversions every year.
I guess the guessing algorithm isn't very good since one of my 1099-Rs is my pension.

In regards to my previous post, my 1099-R's are for a pension and a RMD from my 401(k). Both transferred to the 2024 return.
