TurboTax 2023 State Forms Not Loading after Download

Pennsylvania S-corp filier here. The state download has not been for at least the past 3 weeks. Every week, they push out the "available" date one more week. UNACCEPTABLE. TURBO TAX: WHAT IS THE SOLUTION??

I did a screen share on Wednesday, 2/14/24 with a TT support agent and she had her manager also on the screen.  They watched me try and start the Pa State and nada---They spent a lot of time researching the issue and told me that today was the day it was going to be ready for download.  Yep-----Today, 2/16/2024 is the day-------

I was going to call today and start cursing and swearing but decided to keep cool.

Thanks for that info. Although I won't hold my breath! Do they know there are likely hundreds if not thousands of people experiencing this?

Is this only certain states states that cannot get this? Ohio, Pennsylvania?

My recommendation is for everyone on this forum to call TT support and let them do their thing.  Full disclosure---They have no clue how to troubleshoot this issue and will completely waste your time for an hour.  If you're lucky they will get a few of their managers involved to screen share with you.  They will give you many different solutions and fixes----I had to decline when they suggested that I needed to do a CLEAN INSTALL OF MY OPERATING SYSTEM!!!!!!  That's where I draw the line.  I swear the last support agent had her dog barking and baby crying in the background.  It was a bit annoying.  The last supervisor apologized a dozen times and gave me a credit for the $50 for the download.  He gave me a link to download the program again.  I had to give my CC information again to download.  

Next year I'm applying for a job at Intuit----work from home-----no required tax skills or previous experience.

I too have been waiting and waiting for these PA state forms to be available, they pushed them back what seems like 4 times now. Unacceptable. Support will not be able to do anything for you. No need to uninstall, reinstall, do the state fix utility or any of that, Intuit needs to get the forms done ASAP so people can actually file with the software they paid for. I do not want to have to file an extension because Intuit cant do their job. UGH...

We have reported the outdated state clean-up utility article but are not aware of a similar utility for the current year.

This information has already been tried and tested.  Does NOT work to resolve the ohio issue.  When you run this program (if you did) it shows as 2022 state removal - NOT 2023.

As of 2/17/2024 - 10 am - Ohio state still does not download and goes into the loop.  Going to the "forms availability link" Ohio still bombs out - nothing comes up.

I called and was on the phone for over an hour. These support person didn't even know there was a Business software. She kept trying to get me to use the web browser. I said this is a windows application and it didn't seem to register that all I needed to do was enter everything on line. I asked directly if "Shelia" had ever used the business software. No answer. Just kept saying, "Go to Turbotax.com and enter your user name and password then you can do the state..." It was as annoying as the software. I followed the directions given by Shelia and just kept asking then what form. I said 1120S because I am an S-CORP and I need access to Ohio Forms.

I am willing to wager "Sheila" who is supposed to be offering support for turbotax not only has never used the product but also doesn't even live in the United States.

I love the support answer of reformat you pc and start with a clean OS - How mad would  you be if you ACTUALLY did that and still had the problem???  OMG!!!

But those Super Bowl ads were awesome!

At this point - I am going to file for an extension so I have that done as the way things are going - we will get that update on 3/14/24 if at all....

So I guess I have the answer to my question "Do any support people or does intuit monitor these issues on these boards"

How about you relay the extreme frustration we the people that have paid for Intuit software and are unable to use as the time frame for filing becomes less and less each day. Intuit has completely lost any reliability in my mind to do what they are supposed to. The state tool even if updated would not fix the problem as the real issue is the forms are not done. This is the worst. We have paid for something and not received it. I am not in the business of loaning money to Intuit.
