Turbo Tax won’t open

I downloaded Turbo Tax Deluxe went to applications folder tried to open the software. It says it’s read only and won’t update. Won’t open

Windows or Mac?   Are you using these instructions?  How to install the Desktop Download program

If you are on Mac you need to drag the icon to the right inside the box to install it.

Thank you. Duh…I feel stupid. I kept dragging it to MY applications folder not to the one in the box. I know better. I’ve been using turbo tax for many years. Thanks again.
