Turbo Tax will ask if you want to import the prior years taxes. If you choose that option it will prepopulate your personal information as well as the dependants that you claimed in the prior year. If you need to make changes to the dependants you can remove them from the dependant section to allow another person to claim that dependant. You will want to ensure you have removed the dependant prior to filing.
