Turbo Tax Live Edition

I finished my taxes and with state the cost was $307.  Then I realized I had been moved to the "Turbo Tax Live" edition, which starts at $129.  Did I get moved to that because I asked one question from a live operator.  So I paid an EXTRA $80 because I asked one question of the live EXPERT, that told me the WRONG answer after I looked into it myself. If so that is crazy. Turbo tax is getting too expensive and needs to be more transparent that using "live" immediately raises your rates $80.

You can review your fees by following the instructions below.   

1. After signing in to TurboTax, open or continue your return. 
2. Select Tax Tools on the left side of the screen and then Tools. 
3. A Tools Center box will pop up on your screen. 
4. Select the My Fees box on the right. 

If your TurboTax fees are higher than expected, you can reduce them by removing add-ons: 

• Remove PLUS Help & Support 
• Remove Pay With Your Refund 
• Remove Premium Services 
• Remove MAX Defend & Restore 
• Remove a state
