Turbo Tax glitch

I've used Turbo Tax for years now, and would certainly agree that the software has gotten very convoluted and in some cases contradictory that creates a glitch, preventing completion of the form. Case in point. I surrendered two policies with and insurance company in 2024; one being a straight life insurance policy and the other an IRA.  I rolled them both over into another policy, with another company.  When I input the data from the two 1099-Rs, I got an error message on the regular life insurance policy.  In a previous question it asked if it was a "qualified" or "unqualified" plan.  I selected unqualified per instructions.  A following question asked if it was a 403(b) or an "Other' qualified plan.  Those were the only two choices; no "None of the above."  During the review portion it said there was an error on that question, and that the "No Entry" box should be checked.  Since that was not an option offered, you couldn't make the correction.  when I just failed to select either choice they offered and hit continue, it brought me back to that question and said information was required - I had to select 403(b) or another "qualified" plan.  No matter what you select, it says it's an error and you are dead in the water.  I contacted the "Live Assistant", and she consulted other experts before getting back to me.  None of them had a solution.  They said they would run the issue up the chain to try to get a correction made to the software, but I'm not holding my breath.  I may have to request a refund and use the IRS offered software.

I also found that when you type in a question for assistance, if often fails to display the answer to the question asked on the right side of the screen.  I had to resort to Google to find out what a 403(b) was.  Very poor software.  They used to be good, but this year, the quality of the program has deteriorated significantly.
