Is it possible to use turbo tax  business online without live assistance?  I didnt realize it was assisted until i was done and the price came up. I did not use the assistance nor do i want it.  I see i can order the desktop version that does not include assistance

No. Not Online.  But you can buy the Desktop program.  It is not available to do online or on a Mac.  And it will not do your personal 1040 return.  You can have both Turbo Tax Business and a personal version (like Home & Business) installed at the same time.
