turbo tax 2026

if you mean 2025 tax year that you will file in 2026, usually referred to as the "2025" version, I don't know if there is official notice but it's unlikely as Ventura MAC OS 13 is slated to end support Nov 2025, and Intuit has been pretty consistent ceasing support in sync with when Apple ceases support for an OS e.g. TT 2023 was OS 12 or above, TT 2024 was OS 13 or above.  Similarly Intuit has given advance notice they will likely drop support for Windows 10 as that goes out of support later this year, presumably they will provide similar official notice about MacOS version compatibility at some point in the next few months.

Just to add as example last year, an email came on 9/12/24 informing they were not supporting MacOS 12 for 2024 version, so it could be that sort of timing before official notice comes if they are dropping MacOS 13 for 2025.

Also obviously this only matters for desktop version, not online version, and switching to online is an option if you find yourself out of support - but TT Online has different cost and lacks some functionality (e.g. forms mode - personally I don't use TT Online and never will)

Finally my experience from Mac OS 11 when I got stuck on that OS after an 8-year run on an old iMac, it's survivable for a while but security updates etc stop and all third party apps (Adobe, Microsoft etc) also stop providing updates not just Intuit.  I muddled thru 2023 taxes on a laptop with MacOS 12, then for 2024 got an M4 with Mac OS 15 and got everything current after a couple of years behind.  If you are stuck on Mac OS 13 that also implies your hardware is probably from ?2017 so it's worth making a plan to upgrade regardless of TT.
