Turbo Tax 2024 Premier - issue with Job-related expenses

Under the employment expense category - I answer all of the job-related expense questions, but it shows it "need reviewed" on the deductions/credit summary tab.  Also - when I try to transfer the data to my PA State tax return, (where this information does impact the return), it does not carry over.  Is this a bug?

Turbo Tax 2024 Premier - issue with Job-related expenses

This could be occurring if you are a W-2 employee.  W-2 employees can not claim the credit for job-related expenses.  TurboTax is recognizing the income doesn't match the ability to claim the credit.  Since PA is a state that does allow Job-Related expenses to be itemized, the entries made on the federal return should flow to the state return.  If not, this indicates that there may be an entry error.  Delete the state return, ignore the needs review under job-related expenses and run the federal check.  See if you get any errors flagged.  If not, log out of TurboTax, and clear your cache and cookies.  Then log back into TurboTax, add the state back in and see if the information transfers over.
