Do I have to claim tuition reimbursement from my employer?

Good afternoon, renoriv23!
It would depend on the amount your employer reimbursed you. Your employer can give you, or reimburse you, up to $5,250 in educational assistance. Keep in mind that, while tax free, this amount would still need to be reported and subtracted from any other educational expenses that would be eligible to be applied towards any education credits.
