Tubo Tax E file fee

I bought the program which included both the Federal and State forms.  it was to also include the E-file fee.  in my case there was an additional charge to E-File my State income taxes.  this is totally unfair and was not disclosed when I bought the program.  You should return this fee or at least tell people that when you buy the program there is an additional fee.   I consider this to be very unprofessional.

Read the packaging more carefully.  There has always been an extra state e-filing fee with the CD/download.

Did you purchase desktop software with state software included?  They sell Deluxe both with and without state software--so you have to be careful which one you choose.  And even if it does have the state software download included, that is for preparing the state.  There is an extra fee to e-file the state.  You can avoid the state e-file fee if you print and mail the state instead of e-filing it.
