Tubo Tax Business - Accumulated Depreciation

Just purchased the Turbo Tax Business and when I put in my balance sheet my fixed assets are off by the accumulated depreciation.  It states to put in the fixed assets then the accumulated depreciation, my results should be zero (fully depreciated) and it is subtracting the accumulated depreciation twice.  Below is what it looks like:

Prior Year         Balance             Current Year    Balance

9a Buildings and other

    Depreciable Asset...............       1,623.                                               1,623.

 b Less Accumulated Depre          1,623.             0.                              1,623.        -1,623.

I don't know how to submit a bug, but this definitely is one.

Tubo Tax Business - Accumulated Depreciation

In order to take a closer look at the situation you described, it would be useful to have a diagnostic copy of your tax data file.  The diagnostic file will not contain personally identifiable information, only numbers related to your tax forms.

If you would like to provide us with the diagnostic file, follow the instructions below and post the token number in a follow-up thread.

Using TurboTax Business, follow these steps:

  • Select Online at the top of the screen.
  • Select Send Tax File to Agent.
  • Click OK.
  • Post the token number here.
