Filing in OH. I qualified for federal EIC and TT says that I also qualify for OH EIC, yet it never adds that money to my refund amount. I though perhaps I need to continue to the end of the process and it will be added on, but after getting all the way to the TT checkout screen, it still wasn't added. Is this a glitch? Has anyone else experienced it?
When I got back into my return, it still shows that I qualify for the credit, but the only amount I'm being refunded it the tax I paid in through my employer.

It was already added before you noticed it. It should be automatically added as soon as you entered your W2 or income and qualify. Going though the earned income credit section just tells you how much you got.
The EIC is a refundable credit. It is included in your refund or reduced a tax due. Check 1040 line 18a for the EIC. EIC Info
I’m experiencing the same problem. I know I qualify but I’m not seeing where TT acknowledges that. Where did you find the acknowledgment?
You can view your form 1040 to see if the EIC appears on line 18(a) as follows:
1. Find the "Tax Tools" option on your left menu bar and click on it
2. Click on "Tools"
3. Click on "View Tax Summary"
4. On the left menu bar see the option "Preview my 1040" and click on it to view form 1040 and schedule 1 to 3
This is not true as my federal refund amount is less than my earned income tax credit. It absolutely did not add it
The EIC reduces any taxes you owe first. You will receive the rest as refund.
Check form 1040 Line 27 for the EIC that you might qualify for.
