This is the workaround to get filing done. Delete the 1099-MISC and use 1099-NEC instead. Amazing that intuit can't manage diligent testing before migrating changes to production. I, as I am sure all others have done, followed the TurboTax program when entering the form data. As a long-term user of this product (not sure I will continue use), I can say for certain once you start a return and the forms change or other factors result in TurboTax program updates effecting your return that is WIP, you are often better off deleting the whole return and starting over. I had to do this last 2 years! Regards.
How long is it going to take for you to fix this bug that showed up 2/23/22? It's been over a week now.
Since the new update, this issue appears to be fixed. I'm hoping that I can finally file.

There is an update available today 3/2/2023. This resolved the issue for me.
I downloaded the update this morning as well (March 2, 2023) and I’m very happy to report that Intuit / Turbotax group included the fix! Congratulations to the group for now rolling out the appropriate patch | fix! Thank You!

Yes, as soon as I opened Turbo Tax today, there was an update. I did the update and ran a smart check and everything came through "no errors" on your return! Yippie! All fixed.
As far as I can tell, this bug has indeed been corrected by now. What, then, am I to make of the following notification I received from TurboTax this morning?

That is a canned computer response. Those usually don't get updated as quickly as they should. Disregard the response and download the updates and rerun the checker in Turbotax.
Thanks for getting this bug resolved in a timely manner.
