Intuit. Can you explain with detail what security feature\s in Win 11 are required for TT 2025? This was a corp choice and my guess is a deal made with MS. There has to be a simple way to disable TT Win version test before loading the program.

There is a hack available that allows Windows 10 users to install Windows 11 on unsupported hardware.

Answer: Because Intuit said so. If you don't like it, you're free to use an online version of TurboTax or buy another DIY developer's tax prep product (e.g., H&R Block).
You are correct there is a Win 11 install hack, Flyoobe is a good one and I have used it on a few devices. Having said that, that is not the point.

It is OK to admit you don't know the real reason. Help desk operators frequently are not provided detailed information. This was a management call and time will tell if it was a good call or not.

Sorry, but it's just too obvious that this was strictly a financial decision. They could easily have made the desktop products support Windows 10.
