TT 2021 is asking me to enter a social security tax amount, but I pay into STRS, not social Security, so there is no amount. Also, it will not let me enter a zero. I cannot move forward and submit my taxes as a result. I've tried forms too.

Have you tried deleting your W-2 and entering it again? Leave the box 2 box blank when you re-enter it. Sometimes deleting and re-entering a form fixes the problem.
