Trying to import W2 but number has to exactly match box 1, but Turbotax changes my input so it does not work 12345.60 becomes $12,345.60. How do I overcome this error?

One way to overcome it would be to just key in the W-2 by hand since it seems you have it in hand--instead of wasting your time fighting the technology.
