When I attempt to import my bank records, I get a message saying, "Credentials you have are no longer valid. Please enter correct credentials." I assume that it is telling me my username or password is wrong, not "no longer valid."
So, I try again and manually type in my very long and complicated password. No way to see if I got all 21 characters right. I guess not.
I can't unmask the password to see if I entered it correctly. I can't cut and paste into the password field. It won't let me.
The instructions at the top say to log into my bank to verify my password. Then it says "Once updated, use the new password to log in here."
What? Does that mean I need to change the password that just worked? The language on this page is screwy.
Please advise if there is anything I can do.

If you were able to Sign In successfully to your bank through TurboTax, no need to do anything further.
If not, Sign In to your bank (outside TurboTax) to see if your credentials are valid. If not, you probably need to change your bank password and then use the new password to Sign In through TurboTax.
Hello -
Thanks for your reply. I was able to sign into my bank directly, confirming that my password was correct. I did this at the time.
However, using the same password, I cannot sign in to my bank through TurboTax. As I said, my password is long and complex, in line with global security recommendations. I have to manually type it in one character at a time and -hope- I get it right because TT doesn't let you unmask the password or cut and paste into the field. TT expects users to get all 21 characters right (in my case).
Although I carefully entered my password and it was rejected before, I will try a few more times. I have never been to a modern site that makes you do it this way I mean - does anyone agree that this is poorly designed?
I appreciate the response. If there is something I am missing, let me know. Thanks!
