Transfer TT license from one MacBook to another

I bought a new MacBook Air and would like to transfer the 2024 TT installation on the current MacBook Pro to it. I came across this article which seems to be the answer but I want to confirm that this will free up a license once I uninstall it and deleted all the relevant folders, otherwise I won't be able to get the new install working without the license, yes, this is the last of the 5 available license.
