This year was my first time filing, it says I owe; however, I thought we could choose a payment date for owe payments, so I put Feb 27 as deduction. How can I change this

Yes, you can cancel your Federal tax direct debit payments up to two business days prior to the debit date. To cancel, call the U.S. Treasury Financial Agent at 888-353-4537.

Then, to schedule a new payment, go to the IRS Direct Pay site.
