I’ve tried to call the 888 number like 5 times, and each time it says they’ll connect me, IT JUST HANGS UP? I’ve called from two other numbers and still the same crap. I’m getting so annoyed at this, and Intuit isn’t doing anything about it. I can’t reset my password or username for the debit card, because it tells me my information is invalid. I got through the first time, but the lady on the other end I couldn’t hear a word she was saying. So I waited again to be on hold for 40 minutes just to be hung up on and now I can’t even get into the queue or whatever to get assistance. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING??

Same. Was on the phone for 30 mins. Music stopped, nothing but silence then a hang up.
So called again. I keep on entering my information and after I enter my social it hung up on me WTF is going on!
You need to go to Facebook and leave a message on the page for Green Dot Bank. That is quickest and best way to contact them.
Wow, that was amazing. They sent me a message within two hours and then a real person called me and walked through everything that I needed to get my account verified and a new card sent. Why has this been kept a secret. I had been trying to weeks with the phone calls and never was able to get through before.
Happened to me three times. What upsets is that in each case the rep had my name and number and did not call back. Turbo Tax has turning into a complete JOKE of an organization!!!
TurboTax is an incoming call center. Agents are expected to complete your request in one phone call without transfers or call backs. Calling customers back is a form of annoying telemarketing. If your call is not completed, just call back. Ask for your case number at the beginning of the call so when you call back so the agent can look at notes and pick up where the first call was interrupted. You should not be hung up on and should not expect to be called back if the call fails.
Hate to continue to hype on this but this is simply an awful, awful reply. Good service when you are seeking help should not be compared to "Telemarketing". It is a clear best practice in ANY call center setting to ask the customer for their phone number so they can call them back in the event they get disconnected. First, what is up w/ TurboTax hanging up. I honestly don't think it's the rep as everyone I talked to was genuinely trying to help. That said though, the fact that I then had to call back in, wait in queue another 15 mins, just to get a new agent and get disconnected again is unacceptable!!! Is a simple apology too much these days? Telemarketing, OMG, please!
Well they are not supposed to call you back. The system is supposed to call you back and connect you with an available agent. The system will keep calling until you answer. It can still be calling at 1:00 AM. That is what I referred to as bein annoying as a telemarketer. Agents work from their homes and the internet service is not consistent. That is why calls get dropped, not because of hang ups.
