Yes, same error with Fidelity. I had to manually fix the numbers. Just click edit, then type the correct information. This occurred with multiple forms for me. I checked every one of the forms line by line.
In my situation I'd have to manually enter a lot of information. My plan is to wait a week to see if Intuit can fix the problem. A lot of people use TurboTax, and a lot of people have Fidelity accounts, so I'm hoping that provides a sufficient incentive to dedicate the necessary resources to create a software patch.
I'm having the same problem. I also get transactions list in "one hundred" transition sections. The first section is OK but the 2nd one (I have 140 transactions) is empty. When I manually imput the data is also is not visible.
I've used TT for many years - it seems to get worse every year - or maybe I'm just getting older.
I'm having the exact same issue. The report in turbotax does not show the date acquired so I assumed that was the missing data. I entered the date acquired for all 100 entries manually and that did not fix the problem. Then I ran the review and it says I need to enter the cost basis which does not make any sense since the cost basis is in fact listed in Turbotax. Every year there are issues with data imported from Fidelity relating to stock transactions listed on the 1099B. There never appears to be a fix to this problem and I have to manually enter hundreds of transactions. Very frustrating.
Its March 18, and I want to know if this problem with importing 1099 data ever got fixed?
If you are using TurboTax Online, try importing using a different browser. Also make sure any VPN or Anti-Virus is turned off.
See the following TurboTax Help articles for potential fixes:
Yes, I am having a similar problem late in March (20, 22 Mar) of 2025. The TT list of downloads shows 1099's for DIV, INT, OID and B were downloaded. However, only one of the forms, e.g., DIV, has been populated. The others are blank. Tracking down this problem has been a frustrating waste of time. It helps to see that others are having the same issue, not just me. One would hope that TurboTax would have the issue fixed by now!
I have the same problem for one 1099-B. The import seemed to work from Fidelity to TurboTax. However the last page (at least 90 transactions) says there is nothing to display on the page.
This is not helping my stress level.
I was told I'd have to reimport the 1099-B but I only have a consolidated form that has every form for that account. I have saved the 1099-B separately by printing to PDF and selecting just the 1099-B.
Does anyone know what will happen if I import this with the existing one still in TT?
Thank you.
