The Payer of my 1099-R does only lists a FEIN number and not a TIN. The Turbo Tax asks only for the TIN. What do I do?

The FEIN (Federal Employer Identification Number) is a form of TIN (Taxpayer Identification Number).

The Payer's TIN is an FEIN which is nine digits with a dash after the first two digits, ie. xx-xxxxxxx
