TurboTax does not pay your tax due to the IRS. TurboTax only passes your information along to the IRS so that the IRS can charge your credit card. The only thing you pay to TurboTax is your fees for using the software. Look on line 37 of your Form 1040. Did you do something to pay that amount to the IRS? Your only proof that you paid the IRS will be your own bank record or credit card statement.
The bank account entered on your tax return was wrong? Turbo Tax doesn't change that for a tax due, only if you have a refund and had the fees deducted from the refund. So if you entered your bank info, double check the routing number and account number with your bank. Maybe the IRS couldn't pull it out of your account. Some banks use different routing numbers for refunds and payments.
Your only proof of payment is your bank statement or credit card showing the payment coming out. Turbo Tax only passes your bank account number to the IRS or state for them to take it out of your account. And the IRS or state does not update Turbo Tax when or if they get your payment.
