The Irs is holding my taxes returns and stating that they waiting for employer pay verification because what i put in and what the employer put in does not match

Unfortunately,  there is not much you can do, what they received from your employer seems to be different from what was entered into your tax return.  You will have to wait until the IRS finishes with your pay verification.  Once the IRS opens back up & starts receiving phone calls again, you will be able to call them.
