You can use the magnifying glass icon to search for Recovery Rebate Credit and click the Jump to link in the results.
Unfortunately that does not work. Searching for "Recovery Rebate Credit" does not create a jump to. But if you search for stimulus, it will create a jump to, like the article explains, but it will not take you to the screen that it says it will.
Did you get less than $1,400 but now you should get more (a plus up)?
The difference goes on your 1040 Line 30.
I am attempting to make the entry into Line 30, but there is not a way to use TurboTax to accomplish this, at least not with my data.
There is a way.
most people are complaining that the IRS zeros out line 30, not TurboTax.
@putegrain No the letter 6475 is telling you how much the IRS sent you so you do not claim it again on your tax return. Line 30 is only if you didn't get the full amount or qualify for more.
If your 2021 is too high to qualify for the Recovery Rebate Credit it won't ask you for it. If your AGI is too high you don't have to enter what you got or letter 6475 and you don't have to pay it back and it is not taxable.
If you are trying to trigger it,
Click on Other Tax Situations at top
Click on Let's get started
Answer some questions then Continue
Then click on Let's keep going
Next screen is for the Third Stimulus, if you qualify
And double check 1040 line 30. Line 30 is only if you did not get the full amount or qualify for more. It is not for the amount you already got.
If you did not get prompted to enter your stimulus information, that means you either:
Filed as a dependent being claimed on another tax return, or
have an AGI too high to claim the recovery rebate
